FROM CONSULTANCY TO TURN-KEY PROJECTS

Oilserv Limited has been engaged in providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction services on Land, Swamp, and Offshore locations for Oil/Gas operations.
Our experience ranges from providing consultancy services to undertaking turn-key contracts.
Oilserv has performed various turnkey projects relating to Platforms, Production facilities, and the installation of Bulk lines, all of which involve Engineering, Project management, and Construction services.
We offer a major advantage to our clients in being a company that takes its project from conception to commissioning with utmost seriousness and conformance to schedule and quality.

Oilserv is privileged to be:

  1. The first and only Nigerian indigenous company to fabricate, install and commission the largest Oil manifold station (36-inch TNP Ebubu Manifold) for S.P.D.C.

  2. The first Nigerian company to successfully execute pipeline repairs using Cofferdam.
  3. The first Nigerian company to execute pipeline repair work involving Hot Tap.
  4. Among the few companies to be certified and compliant with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System requirements.
  5. Involved in the execution of over 100 projects in both Swamp and Land environments, since its incorporation fourteen years ago, including over fifteen major projects.
  6. The major company executing pipeline repairs/rehabilitation work for Shell Petroleum Development Co. Ltd. (S.P.D.C) and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria despite the serious security challenges present in the region. Our understanding of the local tension and technical issues involved has been positive in achieving this.
  7. Using Thrust Boring mechanism for road crossing.
  8. Using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Technology for river crossing.
  9. Using Automatic welding machines and special welding tents to carry-out Butt Welding activities.

  10. The First Nigerian Company to design and Construct the Largest Gas Transmission Pipeline System in Nigeria and Africa – Obiafu/Obrikom to Oben Node Gas Transmission Pipeline System (LOT B 67km x 48-inch). This is a part of the Nigerian Gas Master Plan.

Work Scope:

The overall WORK scope for this CONTRACT is the design, engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and optional assistance with start-up of the UBETA Main Development Pipeline. The detailed technical description of the facilities including drawings, data sheets, list, diagrams, and specifications are contained in EXHIBIT E DESIGN DOSSIER.

e) Assignment or Free Issue of Company Items.
f) Pipeline Construction including all associated facilities.

Summary of recent work experience

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation (EPCI) for 5.5km x 24'' OB/OB to OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project

Work Scope:
  • Review of the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) of 24”x5.5km Gas Pipeline approved for design deliverables
  • EPCIC of all associated works, facilities and pipeline protection works, instrumentation amongst others necessary for the commissioning and operation of the facilities.
  • Construction and Installation of all temporary and permanent installations, facilities, structures, pipelines, vent stack and all such things as may be necessary to achieve the project’s objectives and for the fulfillment of the contract.
  • Preparation of all pre-commissioning test/inspection plans/procedures, operating and maintenance manuals giving procedures, instructions and details for the operation and maintenance

Gas pipeline experience

Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (EPCIC) of a 40" x 303.4km main line from Ajaokuta and a 24" x 15km spur line from Abuja.

Project Summary:
The AKK project is a transport pipeline that plays a significant role in the Trans Nigeria Gas Pipeline Project. It runs from Ajaokuta, in Kogi, through Niger, the Federal Capital Territory, and Kaduna, which terminates at Kano.
Work Scope:
  • Detailed Engineering Design for the project.
  • Linear Sections with main sections, Special zones, encroachments, and crossings (HDD & HTB).
  • Construction of Pipeline system with Block valves, Pigging, Metering, Terminal Gas stations and associated Tie-ins
  • Ancillary installations such as temporary site facilities, temporary site utilities, temporary security
  • measures/installations, and services.
  • Laying of Fiber Optic Cable system for 318.4km, including Installation of SCADA and Tele-communication systems for the entire AKK section.
  • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of Pipeline and Above Ground Installation Systems.
